BRIGHT MLS UPDATE

On December 10, 2025, BRIGHT MLS will be launching several Bright policy updates that aim to provide additional flexibility and clarity when working with listings in Bright. Here’s a quick overview of the upcoming changes:

  • When entering an Office Exclusive listing in Bright, listing agents and brokers will be required to upload the Office Exclusive form (previously only required to be kept on file). In response to subscriber feedback, they have revised the OE form and the MLS client disclosure forms to be clearer and more concise. Access the updated forms at BrightMLS.com/Rules.
  • Final seller concessions information will be required at closing. If no concessions are offered, “0” can be entered in the field.

There will be a new option to remove all but the main exterior photo from the Internet when a listing is withdrawn, goes temporarily off market, or closes.

RPR® Templates vs. Reports Explained

Are you confused about how RPR® templates and reports work together?

Templates save report preferences and can be customized for different clients, such as first-time buyers or investors. Reports are the client-ready documents generated from these templates. Learn how to streamline your business.
