2. I love what is currently being provided and will try to attend more CE in the future.
3. Have the popular sessions 2 x a year would be a benefit.
4. Classes that can help new agents thrive in the industry. Mentorship classes, how to find someone who can guide new agents in the art of Real Estate
Results of the membership survey will be in the next newsletter.

MSBR has received a few questions about Inactive Vs Referral Status
Inactive:
- Inactive means you will not be doing ANY real estate business or receiving a referral fee.
- You do not pay MSBR, Real Estate Commission, SentriLock or Bright MLS fees.
- You have 3 years to be inactive, after that you will need to let your license go or re-activate with a brokerage firm.
- If you re-activate within 12-months of going in-active you will need to pay the full year’s dues to MSBR. There may be a reactivation fee with SentriLock and BRIGHT MLS.
- You are still responsible for keeping up with your CE credits. CE credits can be taken with MSBR. Just check out the website and call in to register and pay.
I want to put myself on inactive status, etc.? You may change your status online with the Real Estate Commission. Under Features, select Change Your Information or Status, and then choose inactive/reactivate. You will need to log in with your registration/license number and password. As soon as you log into the system, you will be asked if you would like to change your license status.
Referral:
- If you plan to keep your license to do Referrals, then you will need to find a Referral Company to hang your license with.
- You will not have to pay REALTOR dues, but your license can not be with a Real Estate firm that is not designated as a Referral firm.
- You can take your CE credits with MSBR. Just check out the website and call in to register and pay.
- Call MSBR for a list of Referral Real Estate Firms or if you have questions. 410-822-8767
